Monaghan Courthouse Triumphs at 2011 CMG Building & Design Awards.

Malone O'Regan is delighted to be associated with the refurbishment of Monaghan Courthouse which won the Public Building of the Year at the 2011 CMG Building & Design Awards.

At a glittering gala evening in the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge Dublin, over 220 industry professionals from the construction industry gathered to hear who the judges voted as the winners of the 2011 Building and Design Awards, selected from 14 industry categories. It is only awards ceremony in Ireland that celebrates the achievements of consultants and contractors in the construction industry.

Eugene Kelly, Director of Malone O’Regan commenting on the award, said, “This award is great recognition for the Design Team and recognises the efforts and cooperation of all the Professionals involved in the design and delivery of a modern day courthouse within the constraints of a Protected Structure. I am very proud of our Engineers’ involvement in such a challenging project”.

Donabate Community College, for which Malone O’Regan was also retained as Civil & Structural Engineer, was shortlisted in the School & Educational Building Project of the Year Category.
