Malone O’Regan was retained by Curragh TIntawn Carpets to manage the relocation of its production facility in the centre of Newbridge to a green field site on the outskirts of the town.

The project involved a detailed feasibility study to select a suitable location for the new facilities which comprise circa 5,500 sq.m. of production space together with a National Distribution Centre of circa 3,000 sq.m. and ancillary office accommodation.

The new Production building provides a 50m clear span which facilitated a very efficient layout of the production equipment and transfer of finished product to the Distribution Centre.

Malone O’Regan provided full project management, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering services. Malone O’Regan was also retained to manage the transfer of Curragh Tintawn Carpets’ IPPC Licence to the new site and provides environmental management and monitoring services to the company on an ongoing basis.
