Aryzta was formed when IAWS, the Irish maker of Cuisine De France baked goods, agreed to buy A. Hiestand Holding AG to create a company with combined sales of 2.3 billion euros. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and distribute bakery products and convenience food. The Group operates from North America through Europe to South East Asia and Australia. Just prior to the formation of the new company IAWS developed a new Corporate Headquarters together with a state-of-the-art Production Plant and national Distribution Centre for Cuisine De France at Grange Castle International Business Park in Dublin.

Malone O’Regan who had worked as civil and structural engineers with Cuisine De France’s since the early 1990’s were once again retained as civil and structural engineers and environmental consultants on this major development project.

The purpose built food facility comprises a 10,000 sq.m. Corporate Headquarters, a centre of excellence accommodating a Research and Development Centre and a state of the art food manufacturing and distribution facility and a training and call centre. The total development comprises some 45,500sq. m. of floor space.
